The Ministry

This ministry started with Charlette Moore, Jesse Moore III and me boiling hot dogs and using a crock pot to heat baked beans and drive to DC to feed the homeless. Now, we regularly (almost monthly) drive our RV to the park and grill over 200 beef hot dogs, over 120 hamburgers and fry over 150 pieces of boneless Tilapia fish. We also have Vegetarian Baked Beans, Glory Collard Greens, Cole Slaw and bottled water. In addition, we have toiletry packs that have a wash cloth, soap, a tooth brush and toothpaste. Recently, a church mother, Velma Coleman put a blast out on Facebook and now it seems like we will be serving home baked cakes and sweets as well. We also acquired 6 large coffee urns and starting Christmas Eve (December 24, 2017) we will also have hot cocoa and coffee.
The Ministry was created with a clear motive to please God and not man. While serving our fellow men, women and children that are experiencing difficult financial times, we are 100% certain that what we are doing is also pleasing to Almighty God.
The ministry idea came about as I came back to Jesus at age 46.  I found myself surrendering my life to Christ. Without anyone telling me what to do, I chose to give up the club scene, drinking and getting high, sexual immorality and anything that God told me to surrender. I 100% attribute this to the life changing ministry of the local church that I attended, then Glendale Baptist Church in Capitol Heights, MD.  I became focused on pleasing God in all that I did. I went into ministry and accepted the call to preach the gospel of Jesus in 2008. It amazed me that year after year, my local church called me to say that I was on of the top givers in the church and invited me to an annual Core Givers banquets. I didn’t give that much so I really had a lot of internal questions. However, I was giving extra because of the vision that God gave our Pastor required money to make the vision come to pass. During that time, I also started working with the Missions Ministry feeding the homeless. It was during this time that God showed me what he wanted me to do with my money. I used to think that giving money to the local church was the same as giving money to Jesus. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE! Some money that some churches spend has nothing to do with pleasing Jesus. Also, the New Testament Good News Gospel in which I have been called to preach does not line up with that theology. So without trying to tell others how they should spend their money, my wife and I started feeding the homeless out of our own budget. There were numerous people that asked if they could support the efforts financially and we said ‘NO’. We took NO MONEY from anyone because God was blessing us more and more as we continued to bless the less fortunate.

We started this Ministry effort in September 2016. As of today, December 8, 2017 we have not accepted ONE PENNY$$$ from anyone to support this effort. GO HAS PROVIDED just as his word stated and we have not had to beg for money.

This is a brief history of me and the reason that this ministry was birthed. It is NOT TO MAKE MONEY. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE and 100% of the money goes to the homeless and needy, NOT THE GREEDY.
I really have a lot more to say on this subject but there is a time and a place for everything. I hope this gives you a brief overview of our Ministry and what we do.
PLEASE PRAY THAT GOD WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE FOR US AS WE PROVIDE FOR HIS PEOPLE.
